AIR HOSE INLET POCKETS

The Air Hose Inlet Pockets are readily distinguishable due to the Purple-Coloured Pocket Flaps.

The Flaps are double-reinforced and profile-padded, facilitating easy attachment and removal.

MATTRESS CENTRAL MARKERS

The Central Markers are Permanently Affixed to ensure they remain in place.

Unlike conventional Printed Markings, the Markers

are designed to last maintaining their visibility and functionality over time - they will NOT Deteriorate, or Fade, or Disintegrate.

Central Markers are instrumental in aiding Care Staff with several mattress-related tasks, such as:

• Determining the appropriate mattress size for the Patient
• Assisting in the placement of the mattress beneath the Patient
• Facilitating transfers, particularly onto narrower surfaces
• Positioning the mattress on the bed or other resting surfaces during and post-transfers

The 2 Product Labels, positioned at the foot end of the Mattress, are crafted from Durable, Robust Synthetic Materials.

The Labels feature FULL-COLOUR PRINTING that is Permanent, ensuring it won’t fade over time or be compromised by Cleaning Chemicals, Detergents, or Commercial Laundry Processes.

These Labels are securely encased within a specially designed structure and shielded by a Transparent, Permanently Affixed Durable Thermoplastic Film.

POSITIONING HANDLES -

AT THE FOOT AND HEAD OF THE MATTRESS

Upon completing the transfer, the Positioning Handles and Central Markers aid in accurately positioning the Mattress on the desired location on the receiving surface. The Positioning Handles are utilised for fine-tuning the placement post-transfer.

The POSITIONING HANDLES are designed with the following features:

1. Stiffener: This maintains the shape and form of the Handle.
2. Colour-Coding System: This is aligned with Mattress Sizes for easy identification.
3. Bright-Glow: This enhances the visibility and differentiation of the handles, ensuring optimal visibility.
4. Non-Slipping: This ensures a firm grip.
5. Waterproof and Anti-Static: These features add to the durability and safety of the Handles.
6. Easy to Clean: The Handles can be easily wiped clean, and disinfected
7. Quick to Dry: The Handles dry almost instantly upon wiping.

CENTRAL EXTENDED HANDLES

• Each Handle Construction consists of 2 Handle Parts:

- The Grab Handle - 9a1 + 9b1 + 9c1 + 9d1

- The Pull Handle - 9a2 + 9b2 + 9c2 + 9d2

• The Handles incorporate a Stiffener to preserve their shape and form.
• The Handles are Double Reinforced for Extra Strength and Durability
• The Extended Handles are specifically designed to eliminate the necessity for Extension Straps and to facilitate each of the 3 Stages of the Transfer.
• The Pull Handle is constructed to be PARALLEL to the surface (180 degrees).
• The Grab Handle is constructed to be UPRIGHT, forming a 90-degree angle with the surface.

MATTRESS LINK STRAPS FOR DETACHABLE PATIENT SECURITY STRAPS

• The Link Straps, when not in use, remain unobtrusive and disconnected. 
• They are Naturally Padded and Conformable. 
• When engaged with the Patient Security Straps, they provide a NON-SLIP GRIP and remain securely connected. 
• Demonstrating exceptional strength and durability, the Link Straps are Double Reinforced and can withstand forces in excess of 100 Kg (220 lbs), ensuring reliable performance. 
• They are Easy to Wipe Clean, Disinfect and Dry.

DETACHABLE SLEEVE / POUCH

• Each mattress includes 2 x Detachable Sleeves/Pouches made from Strong, Durable Thermoplastic Film that is Non-Tearing.
• The Sleeves are HFW (High Frequency Welded), making them easy to wipe clean, disinfect, and quick-dry.
• The Sleeves are Double Reinforced for Extra Strength and Durability.
• Each Sleeve has 4 x Female Press Studs (Snaps) at the top, where product information is printed.
• At the bottom of each Sleeve, there are 4 x Openings. The Openings are further protected with an additional layer of reinforcement to prevent fraying and to maintain their shape.
• The Flat Sleeves fold into a Pouch that attaches to the Mattress’s Pouch Attachment Flap.
• The Mattress Attachment Flap features 4 x Male Press Studs (Snaps). The Female Press Studs on the folded Sleeve engage with the Male Press Studs on the Mattress Pouch Flap, creating an open-ended pouch that serves as Pockets or Storage Containers for the Detachable Patient Security Straps.
• The Straps are securely stored within the Sleeve/Pouch, easily accessible when needed.
