01

Product Overview

The In-Bed Positioning Sheets system is composed of two parts:

Base Sheet: This sheet, designed to fit like a standard bedsheet, can either be tucked in or optionally purchased with fitted corners and additional mattress fastening mechanisms.

The Central Section of the Base Sheet is made of Satin Fabric, which aids in sliding and facilitates turning and positioning.

Flanking the Central Satin Section are Low-Slip Sections designed to minimise the risk of sliding off the bed.

Top Draw Sheet: While the Base Sheet can be used independently on its own, the system’s effectiveness is enhanced when used with a Top Draw Sheet.

The Draw Sheet is wider than the Base Sheet and features an expanded Satin Central Section that allows Care Providers to pull-on the Draw Sheet when Repositioning Patients.

When the Satin Sections of both the Base Sheet and the Draw Sheet face each other, friction is reduced, promoting easier movement.

02

How they work

The Smooth Satin Central Section Surfaces on the Base and Draw Sheets are designed to facilitate easy movement and turning for users.

When these surfaces are placed against each other, they create a low-friction environment, enabling users to shift positions with minimal effort.

These Smooth Satin Surfaces are achieved through a specific finishing process. They are easier to clean, less prone to staining, and offer greater durability compared to regular surfaces.

In summary, the Smooth Satin Central Section Surfaces work by reducing friction between surfaces, thereby facilitating easy movement and position changes for users.

Additionally, they provide the added benefits of easy maintenance and enhanced durability.

03

Why they are used

The Easy Applicator In-Bed Positioning Sheets are designed to slide unrestricted in ALL DIRECTIONS, enabling users to Reposition and Turn with ease.

The Sheets not only simplify the responsibilities of Care Providers but also minimise potential risks for both the Care Provider and the Patient.

They play a significant role in preventing and treating pressure-induced sores.

By diminishing Friction and Shearing Forces, these sheets aid in preserving the skin integrity of the User or Patient.
